Meetup Tonight at Elkridge Library!

We are very lucky to have Delegate Liz Bobo as a guest speaker. Please try to attend, and invite anyone else you think would be interested – particularly when we have a guest speaker, we really want to have a good turnout!

Also, as we get closer and closer to the November election, we need “all hands on deck,” so you’ll want to be there to find out about some of the events and volunteer opportunities we have coming up.

And if that isn’t enough to entice you, there will also be pizza! (Due to the strenght of attendence we will be passing the "hat" around for people to chip in- Thanks.) It’s not absolutely necessary to RSVP, but it would be helpful, so we know how many pizzas we’ll need. RSVP at http://dfa.meetup.com, or you can also reply to this email.

The Elkridge library is easy to get to – it’s right on Route 1. Coming from Columbia, you’ll take Route 100 East to Route 1 North (exit 6B). The library will be on your left, about a mile and a half (I’m guess-timating) after you get onto Route 1.

Thanks for enabling Comments, Jim! I hope more people will start participating in some discussion! Meetup was great -- it was wonderful to see some new faces, and gratifying that so many of our regular attendees remain so committed.

I'll try to write up a summary of the meeting soon, for those who missed it.
